POST HOLIDAY.
今年は会社のホリデーパーティーを年末後にする事にしました。旅行する人もいて、数々の年末のイベントともかぶらないようにしました。なので、先日 Chealsea Piersで数レーン借りて、スペアやストライクを目指しボーリング！「Staple vs Reed Space」のイベントではStapleが辛うじて勝ちました。次にペアを組み、Xbox360とiPod Nanoを賭けたコンテストをしました。Do KimがXBoxを、Rayがnanoを持ち帰りました。おめでとう。僕のスコアはさえない104でした。ReedersとStaplersのアベレージ は？98.9。（僕はやっぱり卓球をする事にします。）
実は、XBox360は長期間のオフィス内コンテスト、「ザ・X-Boxオリンピック」の賞品でした。種目の中には、「奇数レース」（早いだけでなく、奇数の歩数でレースを終えなくてはいけないので、走りながら頭の中で数を数えなくてはいけません）。「SMS レース」は誰が最速にメールできるか。「Ring Uｐ」では誰が一番早くレジで入力できるか。そして定番の「マシュマロ詰め大会」。その種目のステキなショットはこちら。
I decided this year to have our company holiday gathering AFTER the holidays. Many people were traveling and I wanted to avoid all the other holiday events happening. So the other night, we rented a few lanes at Chelsea Piers and threw down on some spares and strikes! In the event of “Staple vs Reed Space”, Staple won by a hair. Then we randomly paired up the teams and had a contest for an XBox 360 and an iPod Nano. Congrats to Do Kim for taking home the XBox and Ray for snagging the nano. In case you’re wondering, I bowled a pathetic 104. And the average score of all the Reeders and Staplers? 98.9. (I’ll stick to ping pong)
The X-Box 360 prize was actually part of a longer inter-office contest dubbed “The X-Box Olympics”. This included events like the “The Odd Number Race” (not a race of just who’s fastest, but you also had to finish the race on an odd number, which meant counting in your head while running). “SMS Race” to see who’s the fastest texter. “Ring Up” tested who could ring up a sale the quickest. And of course the ever popular “Marshmallow Eating Competition.” I got some great snapshots of that event.
