MAYER x STAPLE.
John Mayer and I have LOTS in common.
He makes music. I like music.
He owns some sick automobiles. I like sick automobiles.
He’s dated some fine women. I like fine women.
Wow…it’s like we’re blood brothers.
But seriously, one thing that we really do have in common is that we are both Fontstitutes. (aka typeface whores).
To me, one of the most classic type-based logos of all time is the BAYER Aspirin logo. I messed around with it a bit and flipped it to say MAYER and showed John. He loved it and now you guys have a t-shirt you can buy! Life is simple like that, isn’t it? John did some research on his own and discovered the back hit logo. The original logo (from BAYER) said “ASPIRIN for 30 YEARS”. John noted we’re both hard working mofo’s and in our 30s…hence, he suggested we flip it to “ASPIRING-30 YEARS.” Clever dude, that John Mayer.
OK here are the details. As John showed, the tee comes in 3 colors: Grey, Black and White.

でも、まじめに、僕達に共通しているのは二人ともフォントスティトゥート（akaタイプフェイス娼婦）である事。
僕にとって最もクラッシックなフォントベースのロゴの一つがBAYERのアスピリンロゴです。ちょっといじくってみてMAYERになるようにして、Johnに見せました。彼は凄く気に入ったので、みんなが買えるTシャツになりました！人生って単純ですよね？Johnが独自にリサーチし、裏のロゴを発見しました。オリジナルのロゴ（BAYERから）は「ASPIRIN(アスピリン）for 30 YEARS」と書かれています。Johnは僕達は両方一生懸命な働き者で、二人とも30代なので。。。「ASPIRING（大望のある）30YEARS」に変えることを提案しました。John Mayerは頭のいい奴です。
