Just some things I want to clarify regarding the Converse Pigeons that were recently leaked. They will actually come out in February. 2/7/09 is the intended drop date right now. Colette, Reed Space and other top tier accounts worldwide will get it. Ask your local shop for details. MSRP is $100. Not trying to gouge people…

In other footwear related news, press has gotten out that we are embarking on a multi-year large scale project with Airwalk which will be exclusively sold at Payless stores. Yes it’s true…but as most of you guys know who read this, I hate early drops of information. Especially on shit that you won’t see for another year! I like the Steve Jobs methodology. When he says its here, you can go buy it THAT DAY. But Payless is juuust a bit bigger than Staple so they have their way — and we have ours. Hopefully, we can infect them with some of our mindstate. So in about 300 days, you’ll see the fruits of our labor with the Airwalk guys. But I must say working with these people have been just awesome. Well, since its leaked anyway, here’s some snapshots from recent R+D meetings.
他のフットウェア関連のニュースでは、Payless店限定で販売がされる、Airwalkとの数年間規模の大プロジェクトをはじめるとの情報が出回っています。それは、そう、本当です。。。でも、みんなわかっていると思いますが、詳細を明かすには早すぎます。まだ、一年も見られないものですから！僕はSteve Jobsの方法論が好きです。彼が発表した同じ日にそのものを買いにいけます。でも、PaylessはStapleよりちょっっっとだけ大きい会社なので、彼らは彼らのやりかたがあります。。。僕たちもありますが。僕たちの考え方を浸透させられたらと思います。なので、300日後くらいには僕たちとAirwalkとのがんばりの結果が見られます。言っておきますが、この人たちとの仕事は最高です。もうリークされているので、最近のR＋Dミーティングでの写真をアップします。
