数ヶ月前、古くからの友人でDigital GravelのオーナーのNimaがPlaypumpsという団体とのプロジェクトの話を持ちかけてきてくれました。Playpumpsは天才的なアイディアを発案しました。アフリカの必要な場所に子供たちが遊べる公園をつくる。すると、子供たちが公園の遊具で遊ぶと、村に水が送りこまらる。遊べば遊ぶほど水がポンプで送られる。一石二鳥。
「The DG Water Project」は彼らの始めての完全なチャリティープロジェクトです。彼らは時間と技術を無料で提供してくれた10社のブランドとタッグを組み、限定版のTシャツを作りました。このコレクションは24枚のメンズTシャツ、12枚のレディースTシャツと24枚のフードつきスウェットシャツにプリントされます。これらのすべての収益はアフリカの2500人の村に十年間きれいな水を送り込めるplaypumpを設置するために寄付されます。このすばらしいプロジェクトのために協力してください！playpumpsについて詳しくはこちら

A few months ago, my old friend Nima who owns Digital Gravel approached me about doing a project with this organization called Playpumps. Playpumps created this genius idea. Build a playground in needy African areas so kids can have somewhere to play. In turn, as the kids play on the parks, it actually pumps water into their village. The more they play, the more water they get. Pretty much a win-win.
“The DG Water Project” is their first full-fledged charity project. They have teamed up with 10 of your favorite brands who have all donated their time and skills to create a limited edition set of tees. This collection will only be printed on 24 men’s tees, 12 women’s tees and 24 hooded sweatshirts. ALL proceeds from the sale of these items will go towards building a clean water playpump in Africa which can easily deliver clean water to a village of 2,500 people for 10 years.
