TIMEOUT STYLE.

I got a call recently and was invited to be part of a Time Out New York Magazine shoot for one of NY’s Most Stylish People. I was like, “Did you get the right number?” Seriously I don’t consider myself “stylish” at all. I have a good eye, but I keep it dead simple in my everyday dress. Needless to say, I have amassed some nice pieces in the closet over the years. And while I rarely wear them, I keep them around more for design inspiration than anything. But it was fun to play dress-up and put these looks together. 先日、僕はTime Out New York Magazineから電話がかかってきて、NYで一番スタイリッシュな人たちの特集で、その中の一人として選ばれたとの報告がありました。僕は、「電話番号間違ってない？」と思ってしまいました。マジで、自分を「スタイリッシュ」だとはまったく思いません。見る目はあると思いますが、自分自身着るものはすごくシンプルにしています。ただ、長年の間、たくさんのいいプロダクトを収集しました。それをめったに着ることはなくても、デザインのインスピレーションのために取っておいています。でも、今回着飾って、スタイリングしたのが楽しかったです。ほかの人たちもチェック、Kid Cudi、Ouigi Theodore、Michael Macko、Timo Weiland、Robert James、Josh Peskowitz、Jeralyn Delfino、DJ Cassidy、Chris Leeとその他。

Alcool Garment 2010 Spring Collection Preview

いよいよこの1月末から全国一斉発売されるAlcool Garment の新作ジャケットをブログを見ていただいているお客様だけにお見せしちゃいます。今回のコレクションは少しワークテイストが感じられるコレクションとなっておりますが素材やディテールでとても上品に仕上がっておりこてこてのワークウェアではなくカラーや素材で少し遊んだ斬新なコレクションです。

STPL x KANGOL II & III.

Earlier this summer, we dropped the Kangol Pigeon Sunshade Cap. We love working with them so much we return with 2 winter styles for your dome piece.
今年の夏、Kangol Pigeon Sunshade Capを出しました。一緒に仕事をするのがあまりにも楽しかったので、再び、頭を飾る2つのウィンタースタイルを作りました。

First up is the Military Knit Cap. It’s 100% Lambswool rib knit. Military inspired construction. Buttery napa leather trim. Overlock stitch details throughout and chain stitch STPL embroidery. Comes in black only. $45.
最初はMilitary Knit Cap。 100% ラムウールのリブニット。ミリタリーにインスパイアされた作り。滑らかなレザートリム。全体にオーバーロックステッチのディテールとSTPLのチェーンステッチ刺繍。色はブラックのみ。＄45。

And second we have the Brennan Wool Cap. 100% Melton Wool Outer. Convertible flaps to keep your ears nice and warm when you need it. Suede leather binding. Flannel lining. Tiger camo details on the interior. Chain stitch STPL embroidery as well as customized brass engraved plate detail. Comes in Charcoal only. $85.
Both styles are available TODAY at Reed Space (and soon at select Staple retailers.)
二つ目はBrennan Wool Cap。100%メルトンウールアウター。必要な時に耳を暖かく保護してくれる折りたたみ可能なフラップ。スエードレザーバインディング。フランネルの裏地。内側にはTiger Camoのディテール。チェーンステッチのSTPL刺繍とカスタムSTPLと彫られた真鍮プレートのディテール。色なチャコールのみ。$85。

STPL x AIRWALK x STAR TREK. (PT.2)

Calling all Trekkies. Calling all Trekkies. The DVD for the most recent chapter in the Star Trek saga drops this Tuesday on 11/17/09. To coincide with this, the good people at Star Trek asked us to bring back the Airwalk Terrain for the occasion. If you recall, we did a all Silver Enterprise Edition for the original film’s release back in May 2009. Those were only available at Reed Space.
Now, we will launch a 3 set collection for the DVD release. Each shoe features three Star Trek delta shield logos (back, front and on the tongue). The Terrain’s are available in the three Star Trek uniform colors of “Engineering” Red, “Command” Gold and “Science” Blue. These will be available not only at Reed Space but also select Payless stores as well as Payless.com. (The Gold’s are online exclusives.) As is the rule with the STPLxAirwalk Collection, nothing will retail for more than 50 bucks. Beam me up!
トレッキーズ達よ。トレッキーズ達に呼びかけます。Star Trekの最新章のDVDが今週の火曜日、２００９年１１月１７日にリリースされます。これに合わせて、Star Trekの皆さんから声をかけられ、このために僕たちにAirwalk Terrainを復活させるように頼まれました。思い出してもらえば、僕たちは２００９年５月のオリジナル映画のリリースにSilver Enterprise Editionを出しました。それはReed Spaceでしか取扱われませんでした。
今回はDVDリリースのために３セットコレクションを発表します。それぞれの靴には３つのStar Trekデルタシールドのロゴがフィーチャーされます（後ろと前と靴舌に）。TerrainはStar Trekの制服の３色、「エンジニアリング」レッド、「コマンド」ゴールド、「サイエンス」ブルー。Reed Spaceだけでなく、限定されたPayless店とPayless.comでも販売されます。（ゴールドはオンライン限定です。）STPLxAirwalkコレクションのルールで、５０ドル以上では販売されません。Beam me up!

PENFIELD x REED SPACE.

Just in time for the holidaze! We worked with our long-time friends over at Penfield on serving up this buttery winter jacket exclusive for Reed Space. I was inspired by old school military issue MA-1 Jackets..but this offers up the warmth and function that only Penfield can bring. The jacket features leather reinforcement at shoulders and pockets as well as cuffs and pocket openings. The interior collar is a soft herringbone corduroy. The lining is complete safety orange. It’s available now at Reed Space and very select Staple retailers.
年末のホリデーに間に合いました！僕達は長いお付き合いのPenfieldの皆さんと共に、Reed Spaceの為に特別に、このかっこいいウィンタージャケットを作りました。昔の軍用MA-1ジャケットからインスパイアされた．．．けど、これはPenfieldにしか出来ない暖かさと機能性を持ち合わせたものになりました。このジャケットには肩、ポケット、カフス、ポケット口にレザーの補強がされています。内側の襟はやわらかいヘリンボーンコーデュロイ。裏地はセーフティーオレンジ。現在Reed Spaceと厳選されたStapleディーラーにて取り扱い中。

STPL WINTER ’09.

The thermometer is dropping just in time for the STPL Winter 2009 Collection. It’s hitting your local Staple retailer this week. Reed Space will also be carrying everything. CLICK HERE to see the entire collection along with interviews and features from our models who are volunteers at community organizations such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS Society), God’s Love We Deliver and Housing Works. (BTW, all of our shirts are hand made right here in New York City! Which means we should be on this list.)
