SHOPPING SPREE!
一ヶ月ほど前、僕たちはJoshSpear.comのみんなと小さなホリデーコンテストを開催しました。僕たちはクイズを出し、正解された方の中から４人抽選で当選者が出ました。当選者たちは３０秒間Reed Annexを駆け巡り、巨大ショッピングバッグには入れたものすべてがタダでもらえました。Supermarket Sweepというゲーム番組を思い出します！
クイズは：創設者のjeffstapleはなぜお店をReed Spaceと名づけたのでしょう？
正解を知っていた人があまりにも多かったので驚きました。しかし、幸運な当選者はたった４人。
ショッピング大会は思ったより面白かったです。なぜか人間は時間が制限されると焦りまくります！戦略もあります。大きくて、高額な商品は良いけれど、たぶ んショッピングバッグには数点しか入りません。小さい商品は安いけれど、バッグにいっぱい詰められる。とにかく、各々の攻撃戦略を見て爆笑しました。
About a month ago, we worked with my friends over at JoshSpear.com to do a little holiday contest. We asked a trivia question and 4 winners were randomly chosen from the people who answered correctly. The winners got a 30 second shopping spree to run through Reed Annex and grab whatever could fit inside one of our jumbo sized shopping bags. Brings me back to that game show Supermarket Sweep!
The question was: Why did founder, jeffstaple name his store Reed Space?
I was actually pretty surprised at how many people knew the answer. But alas, only 4 lucky winners were drawn from that lot.
When it came down to doing the shopping spree, it was a lot funnier than I expected. I don’t know why, but I guess when the clock is running people just freaked out! There is some strategy involved. Large big ticket items are great but you can probably only get a few into the shopping bag. Smaller items are worth less, but you can cram more of them into the bag. Anyway, it was hilarious to see each person’s attack method.
