The STPL Fall 2010 Collection is docking this week. The class session that inspired us for Fall 2010 is known as “Royal Athletics“. We’re talking about crew, rowing, sailing and rugby. 13th WITNESS @ REED SPACE.

Reed Space is proud to host a 13th Witness solo photo exhibition next week on Monday, September Thirteenth. Plus check out the 1-2-1 video I did with Tim McGurr as well. Oh this will be good. Very. Very. Good.

Reed Spaceは来週の9月13日（月）に13th Witnessのソロ写真展を開催できることを嬉しく思います。あと、Tim McGurrと行った1-2-1ビデオもチェックするように。これはヤバイ。本当に、本当に、ヤバイ。

STPL x OAKLEY: FROGSKIN.

Here it is. This is the one you’ve all been waiting for. The STPL x Oakley FROGSKINS! In pop culture, it was a time like no other. Ronald Reagan was in the White House, “The Terminator” was in the box office and Run-D.M.C. was certified gold. It was also the time when Oakley created the FROGSKINS. Oakley resurrected the original tooling from the early ’80s to produce new limited editions, giving you a chance to own a piece of history. For each Frogskin, limited quantities will be produced. Once supplies are gone, the window of opportunity will be closed forever!
As a part of The History of Oakley collaboration we did, each of the other 5 styles are directly connected to a sport. But the Frogskin was the first Oakley design that was directed at a lifestyle, rather than a particular sport. Hence, we decided to design it with our lifestyle in mind—i.e., The Pigeon.
出ました。皆が待ちに待っていたものです。STPL x Oakley FROGSKINS!　ポップカルチャーの歴史の中では他にはない時代でした。レーガンがホワイトハウスにいた頃。「ターミネーター」が映画館で上映され、Run-D.M.Cがゴールドディスクに。そして、OakleyがFROGSKINSを作った時代でもありました。Oakleyは80年代のオリジナルスタイルを復活させ、この新しい限定版を買えば歴史の一部を手元にキープできます。　各Frogskinは限定の数量でしか生産されません。在庫がなくなれば、絶好の機会が一生失われます！
The History of Oakley コラボレーションで、他の5つのスタイルは、直接スポーツと関連がありました。しかし、FrogskinはOakleyが初めてライフスタイルの為にデザインされたもので、特定のスポーツのためではありませんでした。ということで、僕たちは僕たちなりのライフスタイルを盛り込んでデザインしました-ハトです。

The frame features two tones of grey and the first time ever a translucent plastic was used on the Frogskin. Looks sick! Our little Pigeon mascot is laser etched on the lens. The CEO of Oakley said, “This is the best Frogskin ever designed. Period.”
フレームは2色のグレーで、Frogskinでは史上初の半透明なプラスチックが使われました。ヤバイです！僕たちの小さなマスコットのハトがレンズにレーザーエッチングされています。OakleyのCEO曰く、「これは史上最高のFrogskinデザインだ。断言できる。」

STPL x OAKLEY: HOLBROOK.

The Oakley Holbrook is part of our 3rd drop in The History of Oakley Collaboration that started at the beginning of this long, hot summer! The Holbrook is Shaun White’s signature model which was designed with his bro, Jesse who acts as Creative Director for Shaun’s projects. Therefore, it only made sense to take inspiration from the snowsport he excels in.
The name “Holbrook” came from a small town found along historic Route 66 in Arizona that sits on the outskirts of the painted desert and the petrified forest. It’s a classic western badland that epitomizes a spirit of exploration and adventure found in those traveling along Highway 66 in the 50’s and 60’s.
Oakley Holbrookはこの暑くて長い夏から始まったThe History of Oakley Collaborationの第3弾です！HolbrookはShaun Whiteの定番モデルで、Shaunのプロジェクトのクリエーティブディレクターで彼の兄弟でもあるJesseとデザインしたものです。なので、彼がずば抜けて得意とするスノースポーツからインスパイアされているのは当然な事ですよね。
「Holbrook」という名前はペインテッド砂漠と化石の森のはずれで、歴史的なRoute66沿いにあるアリゾナ州の小さな街から由来しています。1950年代、60年台にHighway66を旅した者の探検心や冒険心を象徴する典型的な西の不毛地帯。

Please note lens color on final production is Chrome Iridium Silver and it looks dope. Red metal bolts accents the front frame. 最終的な商品ではレンズカラーがクロムイリジュームシルバーでとてもドープです。レッドのメタルボルトがフロントフレームにアクセントを加えます。

This Holbrook features a white halftone gradient fade. Starts off solid white at the front, then fades to clear at the earstems—like you’re floating through the perfect powder stash!
このHolbrookにはハーフトーンの白いグラデーション。前はソリッドな白からイアステムにつれて透明になる。まるで最高のパウダースノーの中を浮遊しているように。

TOKYO PR.

I did a whole bunch of interviews in Tokyo to help spread the word on the Oakley collaboration we did which drops later in Japan (Sept-October). I love doing press in Japan! They are so thorough, considerate, polite and organized. I actually enjoy their questioning…it usually just turns into a casual conversation.
東京にいる間、日本では9月から10月にリリースされるOakleyとのコラボレーションについて皆に知ってもらうため、沢山のインタビューを受けました。日本でPRをするのは大好きです！とても徹底していて、考え抜かれていて、礼儀正しく、整頓されています。彼らの質問に答えるのは結構楽しいです．．．通常ただのカジュアルな会話になってしまいます。
