11月末、今年は残すところあと1ヶ月！

これからもたくさんのイベントがありそうです。

11月27日にOakley原宿店でのオープンしたRyoonoさんのアートエキシビジョン、「FLOW」。

そして同じ日にスパイラルで開催された40周年記念を迎えるNorth Faceの記念イベント「Do More With Less」。

世界最新の軽量構造居住スペース「テンセグリティ・ジオデシックドーム」

展示されていた歴史的エキスペディションをサポートしたウェア用具。

そのほかにもコラボ商品のアーカイブやアートワークの展示されていました。

年を重ねるごとに進化していく技術と年を重ねても変わらない信念。

さすがNorth Face、これぞ40年の重み。

そしてそして横浜では3年に一度行われるYokohama Triennaleが終盤を迎えていました。

日常の時空間から離れ、異空間に浸入することで味わえる芸術体験。

見れば笑顔になる作品からかなりシュールな作品まで。

ホントにどれも別世界に入り込むような作品ばかり。

中には頭をかしげるような作品もあり、

作者の意図や考えがわかればもっと楽しめたのではないかと思う作品も。

見る人の感性でその作品の解釈や意味が変わるのも現代アートのいいところ。

でも、やっぱり私は作者の考えや人間味が感じられる作品の方が好きかな。

「時」を考えさせらる一週間でした。

Just in time for the holiday season. Here’s the final delivery for our Fall 08 Collection.
ホリデーシーズンに間に合いました。これが2008年Fallコレクションの最後のデリバリーです。

これはたくさんの人が待ちわびていました。。。TIBIAL PLAID SHIRTとお揃いのネクタイ付き。みんなでBoyzIIMenになろう！

FEMORAL PLACKET SHIRT. This baby has so many dope little details on it that you really must see one in person. Bartacks galore, hidden button placket on the CF (except for 1 button.) Envelope flap on the chest pocket. Leather patch on the back. This is a lifelong keeper.

Of course this collection wouldn’t be complete without our feathered friend. So we reinterpreted the pigeon as a skeleton. The bottom says “Columbia Livia”. Figure it out…
もちろん、僕たちのお友達のハトがいないとコレクションは完成しません。なので、ハトの骨格を表現しました。一番下には「Columbia Livia」と書かれています。どういう意味かは考えてください。。。

A few weeks ago, we held our inaugural Downshift Session with Lotus, Gran Turismo, Polyphony and Sony Playstation 3. At the event, Eric Haze unveiled a Lotus Exige he had hand painted just for this event and it is spectacular. Now that automotive piece of art is available on Ebay for you to drive home! The proceeds of this auction will go to benefit STUDIO IN A SCHOOL. I started the bidding at $1.00 two days ago. Go bid now! It’s quickly climbing!

And with a nod to our design roots, we did a “CMYK color separation” version.

Some more pieces arriving from our Fall Collection. これから続々と出る秋コレクションから。

Gracilis Goatskin Leather Jacket. The cut is reminiscent of a traditional athletic varsity jacket. But we cleaned it up with subtle styling and tonal details.

Hilus Pants. There is nothing like a dope pair of cord pants for the fall. These are just the right weight—not too heavy. Not too light. Carpenter pants pocketing and details.
Hilius Pants。秋用に、履き心地のいいコーデュロイパンツほど良いものはありません。このウェイトがピッタリ。重すぎず、軽すぎず。カーペンターパンツのポケットとディテール。

The Omentum Coat. Quilted wool overcoat with 8 pockets on the front. Have you seen a cleaner jacket with 8 pockets? Peep the ventilation rivets at key points.

Sciatic Crewneck Sweatshirt. Overlock stitching throughout on this dope simple crewneck. Check out the patented inverted chest pocket. It functions like a normal chest pocket but looks like a mistake.

The poncho is back! The Adrenal comes in buffalo check and is quilted for those chilly nights. It features a brimmed hood, removable chin guard and internal straps that act as sleeves. Looks as dope on the ladies as it does on the gents.
ポンチョが戻ってきました。このAdrenalはバッファローチェック柄で、寒い夜にも暖かいキルティングがされています。つば付きのフードに、あご部分に取り外し可能なフラップと内側に袖代わりの腕ストラップ。女性にも男性にも似合います。

The Ulna is a buttery cashmere/wool v-neck sweater. Contrast rib at neck and hem. Plus a side knitted pocket. Ulnaは滑らかなカシュミアウールのVネックセーター。ネックと裾にコントラストリブ。ニットのサイドポケットも。

The Thymus Shirt. This is a heavy duty, heavy weight buttondown that’s inspired by hunting shirts. Check out the shooting flap that lifts to expose a Dan F. piece of artwork.
